There are a myriad of circumstances and sometimes just plain hard luck that leads to any one person being homeless. Homelessness in Malaysia may not be as obvious as it is in some countries but it is nevertheless an issue we need to address.
In this week’s episode, our Executive Producer, Nova Nelson, explores the other side of the Malaysian dream – life on the streets and some private initiatives being taken to help the homeless. Join her as she follows Kechara Soup Kitchen on their Saturday night food distribution rounds and spends a day with someone who teeters on the edge of being homeless.
